Symmetry Lending is Hiring a Junior Analyst, Investor Reporting Near Anaheim, CA

**This position is a majority Remote role with occasional in-office meetings on an as-needed basis. Because of this, interested applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Symmetry Lending's office in Anaheim, CA.**

Job Description

This position will be directly responsible for performing HELOC Reporting duties, such as wire reviews, validating and submitting reports on a daily basis. This position is also responsible for the review, preparation, and distribution of monthly reporting deliverables for Symmetry’s Lender and Investor relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Complete preparation, reconciliation and validation of Summary Remittance for all data for assigned lenders and investor partners
  • Complete preparation, reconciliation, and validation of monthly settlement files, summary remittances, monthly funding reports, and any other month-end reports assigned
  • Confirm loan level detail and overall balances of Monthly Settlement file to Summary Remittance
  • Reconcile and deliver assigned daily lender funding activity
  • Confirm and validate daily accrued interest and servicing fees
  • Reconcile and deliver wire activity and reporting to lenders
  • Work directly with sub servicer and lender partners to coordinate daily draw wire requests
  • Process daily confirmation, validation, and correction of wire instructions
  • Perform daily deliverables (i.e. daily wire tracking, draw activity, funding, etc.)
  • Complete reconciliation and delivery of weekly inventory reports to lender partners
  • Deliver and validate the monthly boarding file to lender partners
  • Perform daily deliverables (i.e. daily membership file, pipeline, social security validation and boarding file) by daily deadline
  • Partner with Accounting Department and Capital Markets group to ensure timely processes
  • Assist in reviewing and preparing audit requests from our partners
  • Assist Investor Reporting Managers with projects as needed
  • Perform administrative or operational duties specific to Capital Markets Group such as due diligence investigating and investor inquiries as needed

Qualifications / Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required, with a minimum of 2 years related experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Knowledge of financial terms and principles and ability to perform financial calculations
  • Analytical, critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
