The CT Technologist provides patient care and technical skills in the operation of a computed tomography (CT) scanner for diagnostic and evaluation purposes. Working knowledge of G.E., CT, and X-ray equipment preferred. Able to work with little supervision and multitask. Graduate of a two year American Registry of Radiologic Technologists approved program for Radiologic Technology. Experience with CT required. Current Radiographer licensure from the state of Louisiana. Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. The CT Technologist will also have surgery X-ray responsibilities and be required to take call.
