The Symbio corporate division works with large corporate, multi-national and government organisations across the Asia-Pacific region.Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, this role is responsible supporting the financial performance of Symbio through the provision of high-quality financial accounting & reporting and will work closely with the CFO Team. This is a great opportunity to embark on a career in a commercial focused ASX listed company.What you'll do as a Financial Accountant:Working with half-year and year-end audit processesAssist with preparation of the half-yearly and annual financial reportsBuild productive working relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their business operations and the financial information needs as end usersComplete month-end close process in line with month-end close timetablesAdvisory to the business on technical accounting aspectsPreparation & presentation on monthly Business Unit management reportsWorking well in team environment as well as autonomouslyQualificationsWhat you'll need to succeed:2 to 4 years of Financial Accountant experienceQualified or part qualified Chartered Accountant with CA / CPA membership preferred.Strong technical accounting skills from a professional accounting services background, with exposure to ASX-listed companiesAbility to interpret accounting standards.Well-developed communication skills Proven strong data analysis skills.Proactive, with a problem-solving mindset.What's it like to work here?As a Symbion, you have flexibility to shape when, where and how you work.
