The Sylvan Learning Center of Encinitas is seeking Part-Time Math instructors to provide personalized instruction in elementary, middle school and high school math.

As a successful Instructor, you will:

• Deliver quality math instruction using Sylvan based math programs
• Provide individualized tutoring to help students complete school assignments.
• Use manipulatives and technology to teach and reinforce concepts
• Supervise, interact with and motivate students during instruction hour
• Inspire students to work toward mathematical understanding
• Encourage a positive attitude toward mathematics

Requirements:

1. Teaching credential is ideal but not required.

2. Available to teach in the afternoon and evenings on weekdays and mornings on Saturdays

3. Teach on-site in Encinitas, CA (Near San Diego, CA).

4. Ability to teach science and other core subjects a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
