Teachers Wanted for AFTER SCHOOL Program for School Sites in Modesto. Sylvan instructors are needed to teach an in-person after school reading or math intervention program. Teachers will work with small groups of elementary students focusing on building their reading or math skills.

Teach in the afternoons Monday-Thursday and leave happy with no additional work to take home!

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or experience working with K-8 students.
• A passion for education. We love teachers who love teaching! We are looking for teachers who have the ability to connect with students and motivate them.
• Must have the ability to bring the curriculum to life, we are looking for teachers who have a personality and can make learning fun
• Must be available in the afternoons at least 4 days/week, preference given to candidates who are available all 4 days Monday-Thursday
• Being punctual is extremely important. 
• You must be local and have reliable transportation.
