JOB SUMMARY: Sycamores is partnering with the 988 mental health crisis hotline to provide support to people experiencing a mental health crisis. The 988 hotline will provide initial phone support to all callers and triage calls to the Sycamores Mobile Crisis Outreach teams for in person support. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Team will respond out to the community to provide timely support including crisis stabilization, safety planning, assessment for danger to self/ others, and gravely disabled write 51/50 holds as needed and provide follow up support. The Clinical Supervisor will provide support and supervision to the Mobile Crisis Outreach Team and be an integral part of the Sycamores larger Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT). Close partnership with the 988-call center, police, sheriff, psychiatric hospitals, and ambulance transport companies will be important in this role. This is a direct service leadership position designed to provide hands-on coaching direction and guidance to supervisees within the program. In this role, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for working directly with staff in the implementation of best practices that are consistent with policies and the agency’s treatment philosophy. The Clinical Supervisor provides administrative and clinical supervision to members of the Mobile Crisis Outreach Team. The Clinical Supervisor will be available for consultation during and following crisis calls as well as to fill in when back-up is needed in the field. The Clinical Supervisor will supervise, and lead identified crisis staff, be on-call, and represent the MCOT program to external stakeholders and community resources. There will be an additional $6,240 per year overnight differential.Shift Schedule:Friday 9 pm - 7:30 amSaturday 9 pm - 7:30 amSunday 9 pm - 7:30 am JOB QUALIFICATIONS Masters or Doctoral degree from an accredited or state approved program that meets criteria for licensing as a clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, professional clinical counselor, or clinical psychologist. Must be waiver-able or registered with the appropriate licensing board in California to provide psychotherapy. Must be licensed and eligible to provide clinical supervision to the Board of Behavioral Science standards in California (i.e., LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Ph. D or PsyD).Supervisory experience in individual, group, and family psychotherapy with the severely emotionally disturbed. Must be LPS certified. 2 years post licensure with related supervisory experience and advanced clinical knowledge of best practicesExcellent consumer de-escalation skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills, creativity, flexibility, time management, and organizational skillsMust have the ability to manage and work through conflict in a calm manner.Ability to be an effective listener • Maintains all required licenses and certifications.Valid California Driver License and a driving record acceptable to the Agency’s insurance carrier.
