Sycamore Daycare is Hiring a Daycare Assistant Near New Rochelle, NY

Hello I have a daycare located in New Rochelle. I’m looking to hire a loving, fun and energetic person for 4 days a week The hours differ but approximately 9 to 9.5 hours a day. two year e is required and must be 18 yrs of age.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Assistant to join our team. As a Daycare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, ensuring the well-being of children, and promoting their social and educational development.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the supervision and care of children in a daycare setting
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote their physical, cognitive, and social development
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and cleaning up
- Change diapers and assist with toilet training as needed
- Monitor children for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns to the daycare supervisor
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure a smooth operation of daily activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility

Skills:
- Previous experience in nannying, daycare setting or babysitting is preferred
- Ability to work well with children of different ages and backgrounds
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff members
- Ability to multitask and handle classroom management effectively
