SWOPE HEALTH is Hiring a Director of Operations Near Kansas, MO

As the Director of Operations for Swope Health, you will lead an dedicated and driven operations team, that supports the organization's mission of providing quality care for those who need it the most. The Director of Operations will oversee the day-to-day non-clinical activities of the organization, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities include leadership in fiscal analysis, resource development and strategic planning, and ensuring the highest levels of patient satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Revenue Cycle Management: Lead the development and implementation of strategies to optimize the revenue cycle process, ensuring financial stability and sustainability.
  •  Provide support for the development, implementation and monitoring of new and established operational and/or clinical programs, goals and outcomes as defined by Swope Health
  • Environment of Care: ensure the highest standards of patient care environments by overseeing facility management, safety protocols, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and patient satisfaction.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures and Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
  • Outreach and Enrollment: Develop and implement outreach programs to enhance community engagement, increase patient enrollment, and promote health center services.
  • Work closely with community organizations and stakeholders to expand the health center's reach and impact.
  • Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Transportation Services: Oversee the provision of transportation services for patients, ensuring accessibility and reliability.
  • Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.

Successful Candidate Will Have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business administration or related field Required. Master’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or related field. Preferred
  • At least 3 years of managerial experience in an FQHC, with a strong background in operational functions, including revenue cycle management, environment of care, outreach and enrollment, and transportation services. Required
  • Experience in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) and healthcare IT systems. Preferred
  • Expertise in revenue cycle management and healthcare financial management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic operational plans.
  • Proficiency in healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
