Process Auditor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performance of special audits: e.g. new procedures / new processes and substantial changes to them. Support the quality management officer in the further development of the QM system.
• Analyzing processes and procedures
• Leading a team of process experts in applying the methodology and corresponding tools to new and existing process to identify areas for action and/or opportunities for improvement
• Ensure and monitor timely implementation of remedial measures
• Examine effectiveness of measures at/through internal audits
• Prepare target-group-based information. Transfer methodological know-how and derive action requirement.
• Create information concepts (training) and organize requirements-based training events.
• Support fulfillment of all requirements of the certification entity
• Implement and optimize tracking methodology for measures on a continuous basis
• Support optimal implementation of the different objectives of the Charleston Plant with respect to process orientation, economic efficiency, etc. in the plant-wide systems, processes and projects. Ongoing coordination with the other plant sites with respect to specifications, processes, tools, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates Degree
• 5 years' audit experience (internal and/or external)
• 5 years’ of Electric vehicle experience
• EOQ auditor, statistical methods, QM methods, project management; environmental auditor a plus
• Excellent knowledge of process chains at the site, rationalization and project methods, advanced knowledge of database systems

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Six Sigma Green Belt Training and Certification
• Languages: Fluent in written/spoken English, prefer knowledge of German and Spanish
• Skilled with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
• Knowledge in the application of quality methods
• Ability to work in teams
• People and persuasion skills
• Negotiating skills
• Assertiveness in difficult situations, knowledge of current moderation and presentation techniques

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.

FLSA STATUS/WORKING SCHEDULE:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Core Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Weekly Overtime: As needed.
  • Weekend Work: As needed.
  • Assignment Start: ASAP
  • Assignment End: 1 Year
