About Us: Switch-It-Up Inc. is a National provider of LED lighting and electrical solutions. We work with businesses of all types to reduce energy consumption, operational expenses, and improve overall business performance.

Job Description: We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Outside Sales Representatives. No experience is required, and we will pay to train you! In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with potential customers in commercial areas to promote our products and services. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in raising awareness about the benefits of renewable energy, generating leads, and performing lighting audits for our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct door-to-door canvassing in assigned territories to initiate conversations with businesses about LED lighting upgrade incentives and programs.
  • Educate potential customers about the environmental and cost-saving benefits of transitioning to LED lighting.
  • Collect contact information and qualify leads based on their level of interest and suitability for our products and services.
  • Overcome objections and address concerns from potential customers to effectively promote our offerings.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, leads generated, and outcomes to track progress and measure the effectiveness of canvassing efforts.
  • Collaborate with team members to share insights, feedback, and best practices for maximizing lead generation and conversion opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage confidently and persuasively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Passion for environmental sustainability and renewable energy.
  • Resilience and determination to overcome challenges and achieve goals.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or canvassing is a plus but not required.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Basic computer skills are essential.
  • Auditing experience is a plus, but not required.

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
