Position Overview
The Overhaul Mechanic is responsible for performing various duties outlined below and other tasks as directed by the supervisor. This role is crucial for the proper operation of plant equipment and systems. The Overhaul Mechanic is responsible for repairing production machinery.

The Role
• Installation and start-up of production equipment
• Troubleshooting and repair of equipment
• Maintenance and support of equipment
• Overhauling and rebuilding equipment
• Assist in the execution of other assignments as directed by the Supervisor to support production
• Comply with all relevant safety protocols and standards, including OSHA regulations.

The Experience Needed
• High school education or equivalent.
• Mechanical systems and devices
• Pneumatic systems and devices
• Electromechanical components and mechanisms
• Computer-controlled manufacturing
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Bring your own tools

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb ladders and do overhead work.
• Must be able to bend, squat, and complete tasks on the floor.
• Able to walk and stand for prolonged periods.
• Able to operate hand and power tools for extended periods.
• Work involves both indoor and outdoor environments, potentially exposing the individual to various weather conditions.

The Preferred Experience
• Exposure to high-speed production equipment is required.
• Prior experience with machinery or a related field.
• Knowledge of safety regulations
