POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Custodial/Warehouse Utility you will be working at our Swisher’s Tradeport facility, located near the Jacksonville, FL airport. This is a 1st Shift starting at 7:00AM until work is completed with a minimum 4 hours up to 12 hours per day. 

The Role

Primary responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning duties in offices, restrooms, and all break areas.
• Walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, mopping, dusting, cleaning refrigerators, microwaves, vacuuming, and any other cleaning required or directed by your supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Adhere to all company work and safety rules.
• Assist in the execution of other assignments as directed by the Supervisor to support and/or to maintain safety policies and procedures.

Secondary responsibilities

• Backup to other positions which includes the below:
• Pick products for customer orders.
• Label/stamp and count customer orders.
• Isolate and repair damaged products.
• Arrange and stock pick areas.
• Assist in the execution of the inventory process.
• Unload/load product containers.
• Place products in the designated areas of the warehouse.
• Perform miscellaneous mobilift tasks.
• Sort and segregate pallets.
• Assist in the execution of other assignments as directed by Supervisor to support shipping operations and/or to maintain safety policies and procedures.
• Qualified personnel will also provide on-the-job training.

The Experience Needed

• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and exposed to warm or cold temperatures
• Lifting up to 50 Lbs.
• Bend, squat, and complete tasks on the floor
• Standing and walking for prolonged period of time
