What does a Machine Operator do at Swire Coca-Cola?You get the chance to produce the beverages that people LOVE! We have an opening our production team as an entry level Machine Operator. In our production facility, you will run automated manufacturing equipment to produce a variety of beverages. You will also be responsible for basic maintenance of the equipment you run – so your skill set will grow as you learn to operate a variety of machines/equipment. Little to no experience is required, we will train you! We operate on a 24/7 operational schedule. Shift Details: 3p - 1:30a (Mon - Fri, some weekends, OT)Responsibilities:Operate and monitor less complex equipment and machines under general supervision; replenish materials as needed throughout the production shiftSet up machinery and ensure all production materials are available and readyVisually inspect production run and document resultsProvide basic maintenance of equipment, to include cleaning, inspection of equipment, and lubricationMaintain cleanliness of the work area; maintain organized workspacePerform quality review of equipment to maintain safety and performance standardsSupport Continuous Improvement by participating in root cause / corrective action analyses when equipment is not performing at optimal levelFollow established safety, quality, and environmental policies, practices, and programs Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificateMust be at least 18 years of ageKnowledge of manufacturing, production operations, and industrial technology preferredAbility to work weekends and holidays as directed by the businessAbility to lift 50 pounds frequentlyAbility to bend, stoop, and kneel frequentlyAbility to ascend and descend sets of stairs – both metal grate and concrete – on a frequent basis
