We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bingo Hall Service Technician to provide on-site technical support and equipment installation at our bingo halls across Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading various types of equipment, as well as experience with running and crimping Cat5/AV lines. This role requires travel to various locations within the state, occasionally overnight, to ensure the efficient operation and setup of our bingo halls.
Responsibilities:

1. Provide on-site technical support for our bingo halls across Texas, including troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of equipment
   • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
   • Perform regular maintenance and preventative measures to ensure optimal equipment performance
2. Install and upgrade technology and equipment at our bingo halls
   • Set up and configure new systems and devices
   • Replace or upgrade outdated or malfunctioning components
   • Ensure compatibility and seamless integration with existing systems
3. Run and crimp Cat5/AV lines, ensuring proper installation and connectivity
   • Install and terminate network and audiovisual cabling
   • Test and troubleshoot cabling issues to ensure proper functionality
4. Assist with the setup and configuration of new bingo halls, occasionally requiring overnight stays out of town
   • Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and efficient setup
   • Provide technical expertise and recommendations for optimal performance
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service calls, installations, and equipment inventory
   • Document service visits, issues, and resolutions for future reference
   • Track and manage equipment inventory and replacement parts
6. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless operation and support
   • Communicate effectively with management and colleagues regarding technical issues and project progress
   • Provide input and suggestions for improvements and process optimizations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or associate degree in a relevant field is a plus
• 3 years of experience in technical support, equipment installation, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking technologies
• Experience with running and crimping Cat5/AV lines
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel across Texas
• Willingness to occasionally work overnight and out of town as needed
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach
