Microbiologist

Contract Length: 6 months

Pay: $24.00/hr

Schedule: Full Time Friday-Tuesday 7AM-4PM

Location: Neenah, WI

Position Purpose:

Apply expertise in quality assurance and microbiology to the facility manufacturing processes and microbiology lab to result in conformance to FDA-Cosmetic guidelines and current Good Manufacturing Practices. The incumbent

Provide assistance in the development and implementation of quality systems, processes and procedures consistent to meet FDA regulatory and corporate guidelines.

Duties include, but are not limited to reading out finished product, water, and raw materials, additional micro testing if needed, and release of finished product in SAP. Day to day this person will be reading plates, testing raw materials, water testing and Identifications of organisms. They will also be assisting in lab investigations and supporting the initiation of validations. They will also trouble shoot issues.

Tasks outside the lab include: updating the quality board on each converting line.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Microbiology/Bacteriology/Natural Physical Sciences. Graduate students of Microbiology may apply.
• Experience using ETQ, SAP, and Microsoft Office
• Worked in a CPG field previously is preferred
