Swipejobs is hiring for a TEMP ONE Day Assignment on 05/07/2024, 8:00am-5:00pm, at Food Show in Myrtle Beach, SC. Employee will be working the booth, passing out samples, etc. Basic Culinary. Baking skills, frying, and pan searing are a must. Will be in the back on the house cooking. Preparation of food, including: receiving of product, preparation of daily items, safe handling of all food items, follow regulated food temperatures and adhere to the portion guidelines. Other responsibilities may include: assist with butchering of proteins, make sauces and desserts.

Duties:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking tasks
- Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
- Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits
- Prepare sauces, dressings, and marinades
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar role is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with coworkers
