CNC Machine Operator
Looking for strong and eager Plasma table operators to join an industry leading manufacturing company in Pendergrass, Georgia.

Monday-Friday: 5:00am - 1:00pm and 3:00pm-1:00am

Pay rate: Starting at $20ph depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Locate material needed for job based on production sheets.
• Assist in loading and unloading material onto the plasma table.
• Verify thickness and gauge of material based on order requirements.
• Review all specifications on production sheets to verify any special requirements, ship date, customer markings, template shapes.
• Select correct program on CNC Plasma cutter based on production sheet.
• Select correct tip based on cutting chart.
• Set gases and cutting speed based on cutting sheets and program selected.
• Ensure runs are meeting specifications by measuring parts with a tape measure.
• Report any defects in quality of parts.
• Maintain Plasma machine by cleaning table, changing, and cleaning any tooling etc.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience running a CNC machine
• Ability to operate a forklift and overheard crane required.
• Experience in running a plasma and/or Oxyfuel table a plus.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and do simple math including fractions and decimals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
