A Public Sector client of ours is looking for a Senior Oracle Database Architect/Engineer to work on their ongoing project in the Richmond, VA office.

Required Skills:

We need a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in the following.

• Prior PL/SQL Development experience
• Data retrieval using SQL
• Technical writing
• Strong written communication skills, especially for technical audiences
• Strong verbal communication skills, especially when addressing technical audiences
• Ability to see the big picture and not get bogged down in the details
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to follow technical guidance from VDOT staff reporting to and working with
• Scripting/coding in a modern language such as Python (pandas, numpy) or R. Working with data frames.
• Knowledge of relational database design.
• Data Engineering skills (cleaning, preparation, validation)
• Data analysis and visualization
• Exposure to or (some) knowledge of transportation data, skills, or/and concepts
