Position: Project Manager, Restoration/Construction

Overview: As a Project Manager at Swift Restoration & Remodeling, you will play a pivotal role in estimating, overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed with the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency while adhering to project timelines and budgetary constraints. Your leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail will be essential in delivering successful restoration and remodeling projects that exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Coordination:

· Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive project plans and timelines.

· Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, identify potential challenges, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

· Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials and equipment necessary for project execution.

2. Team Management:

· Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including project coordinators, in house skilled team members, subcontractors, and laborers, to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and according to specifications.

· Delegate responsibilities and provide clear direction to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

· Implement quality control measures to ensure workmanship meets industry standards and complies with regulatory requirements.

· Conduct regular inspections of work sites to identify and address any deficiencies or safety hazards promptly.

· Ensure adherence to all relevant building codes, permits, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

4. Budget and Cost Management:

· Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and monitoring costs to ensure projects remain within budgetary constraints.

· Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies without compromising quality or safety standards.

5. Client Communication and Satisfaction:

· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and any potential issues.

· Address client concerns and inquiries promptly, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

· Seek feedback from clients upon project completion to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.

6. Risk Management:

· Identify potential risks and proactively develop contingency plans to mitigate their impact on project timelines and outcomes.

· Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities, contracts, and communications to mitigate legal and financial risks.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Restoration Project Manager in the restoration or remodeling industry.
  • Drafting and submitting estimates using Xactimate. (Symbility is a plus)
  • Work as a team to ensure happy and satisfied Swift customers.
  • Experience and understanding working with and building relationships with insurance providers and adjusters.
  • Strong knowledge of construction principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure safety standards are met to protect our clients, employees, and subcontractors.
  • Manage and maintain quality craftmanship on each project.
