Qualifications:
The Registered School Nurse must be a professional nurse registered in the State of New York.
Possession of the license must be available at the time of appointment.
AED & CPR Certified
Good knowledge of nursing principles and techniques and their relation to medical practices and skill in their application; working knowledge of dietetics, sanitation and personal hygiene; ability to understand and follow technical, oral and written instructions; ability to get along well with students, teachers, parents and others; and ability to carry out successfully the measures prescribed.
