POSITION SUMMARY:
The Level II Support Technician position assists with performing and leading installation, maintenance, repair, and support of desktop system hardware, peripheral devices, Microsoft operating system, and application software related to the systems that support patient care and hospital operations. This position is a champion for inventory record management, quality, and technical documentation.
As a Level II, the Technician is responsible for providing guidance to the less experienced Technicians, coordinating multiple projects and resolving complex technical desktop related issues.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Minimum – 2 years related experience
Minimum – Associates Degree, experience may be substituted for minimum education requirement
Preferred - Specialized course work with certifications in PC or I.S. technology
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation that allows the employee to travel to different sites is required for this position.
