Supervisor Environmental Services - Swedish First Hill (Full Time, Evening Shift)

This position supervises a multidisciplinary team that maintains the physical environment of the hospital at the highest level of cleanliness, both from an appearance and infection control standpoint. Responsible for overseeing and developing the Environmental Services staff that functions in ancillary, inpatient, outpatient, clinic, and office areas. Supervises workers, coaches for improvement, reviews performance and assesses competency to ensure compliance with safety, infection control and regulatory standards. Interviews applicants, orients and schedules new hire training. Conducts continuing education sessions inclusive of written competency assessments. Writes and delivers performance evaluations. Participates in departments annual budgeting processes and is responsible for managing budgeted resources.

Required Qualification:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent from a 2 year technical/trade school OR Equivalent combination of education and experience

• 3 years Demonstrated lead or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment or guest services environment

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
