Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Strength Trainer to join our team. As a Strength Trainer, you will be responsible for instructing group based strength training classes and/or performing 1 on 1 personal training. Duties:
- Group classes: Help clients with proper technique and form
- Conduct fitness assessments to determine clients' current fitness levels and goals
- Develop customized workout plans based on clients' individual needs and goals
- Instruct clients on proper exercise techniques and form
- Provide ongoing motivation, support, and guidance to clients throughout their fitness journey
- Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to their workout plans as needed
- Educate clients on the importance of nutrition and provide dietary recommendations
- Utilize behavior management techniques to help clients overcome obstacles and stay motivated
- Ensure the safety of clients by enforcing proper exercise techniques and maintaining a clean and organized workout area
Requirements:
- Certification in personal training or a related field
- Previous experience working with clients of all ages and fitness levels
- Strong knowledge of physical education principles and exercise science
- Proficient in various fitness disciplines such as basketball, judo, swimming, martial arts, etc.
- Ability to educate and motivate clients to achieve their fitness goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR/AED certification is preferred
