Position Summary: SWCORP is seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring product availability meets market demand, optimizing inventory levels, and facilitating efficient supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be adept at forecasting, possess strong analytical skills, and have a keen eye for detail to support our mission of supplying America with luxury bath products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and statistical modeling techniques.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to understand market dynamics, promotional activities, and new product launches.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify demand drivers, assess forecast accuracy, and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Work closely with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability, optimizing inventory levels to meet demand without overstocking.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication to align demand planning with sales objectives, production capabilities, and financial goals.
  • Regularly present insights and forecast updates to senior management, highlighting risks and opportunities within the market.
  • Participate in the development of supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of market changes and adjust demand planning strategies as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a similar role in a manufacturing or retail environment.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis software and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and ERP systems is preferred.
