Swan Home Comfort is Hiring a Drain Technician Near Loveland, CO

Swan delivers excellent plumbing, heating, electrical, and air conditioning repairs and upgrades throughout the Loveland area. We take pride in providing our customers with world-class service and treat our clients with care, respect, and professionalism from the time They call to the completion of the repair, installation, or maintenance need.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • General Inspection to determine maintenance needs
  • Perform drain cleaning on plumbing systems
  • Operate a variety of machines used in drain
    cleaning
  • Clear clogged lines and repair leaks
  • Ensure job site cleanliness and organization
    through all phases of the service process
  • Performs preventive maintenance
  • Provide service repair, installation and/or propose replacement of sewer line or drain line including but not limited to
    clogged drains, leaky pipes, water heaters, sewer mains, sump ejector, and effluent pumps, septic systems/fields, water purifiers
  • Efficiently manage his/her time and schedules.

SKILLED/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to understand and follow oral and
    written directions
  • Ability to operate basic hand tools necessary for the
    craft
  • Excel within
    a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business
  • Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment
    drug screen and background check
  • Valid driver’s license, with minimal DMV infractions
  • Ability to operate basic hand tools necessary for the
    craft

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

  • The principal duties of this position are performed in a variety of environments, including customer homes, the outdoors, and field environments at development and work sites on uneven and rough terrain.
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance.
  • Required to work in outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, and temperature swings, for extended periods of time.
  • Requires concentration and attention to detail; requires a high level of organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Standing up to 8 hours per day; Walking up to 8 hours per day on uneven, difficult terrain.
  • Occasional heavy manual labor to include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular and repetitive grasping, gripping, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and working overhead.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others and to convey detailed spoken instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms, or alarms).
  • May work in closed or cramped space on occasion
