JOB SUMMARY/DESCRIPTION:

The production team is a group of professionals who are responsible for assisting in the development of solutions by planning and executing the assembly for the customer.

The technician will be part of the production group and will build customer assemblies using hand tools, and automated equipment as training and experience dictates. The candidate will work independently, but also as part of a team to finish tasks when required. The candidate must be able to provide quality work in a safe and efficient manner. The position is Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week requirements, however, some flexibility is required based on project load.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

Virtual and hands-on training is provided through Swagelok on all products, approved assembly and quality control methods.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

· Basic computer skills (search files, record information)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Regularly required to use hands to keyboard, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear;

· Lift and/or move objects 5-50 lbs

· Frequently required to stand, walk sit or stoop

· Occasionally required to climb or balance;

· Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision; color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· High School Diploma or GED required

· Technical Degree (2 yr.) preferred

· Minimum of 2-year experience in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred
