We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused inside support technician to join our team. As inside technical support, you will play a pivotal role in the company’s operations by providing support to the sales team, field service technician, and repair technicians. This position requires a proactive individual with exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a keen ability to build and maintain relationships with both customers and suppliers. The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking, negotiating, problem-solving, and ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for increasing sales revenue and achieving targets.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound sales inquiries.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs, recommend appropriate products or services, and provide accurate pricing information.
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently using the company’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
  • Follow through with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to foster loyalty and retention.

Mechanical Parts Coordination:

  • Identify suppliers, source products, and obtain competitive price quotes to meet the company’s procurement needs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and coordinate with technicians to manage stock availability.
  • Work closely with the technicians to understand their specific needs and preferences, ensuring seamless integration of parts into ongoing projects.
  • Follow through is a must, detailing specifically when parts have been ordered, expected delivery dates, specifying the job number to ensure coordination of work to be completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other sales support tools. Experience with electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
