SVP Portland helps nonprofits build their operational capacity and resilience, scale their community impact, and, ultimately, enable more underserved children to attend preschool. We provide capacity building support to organizations with early learning programs because research shows that addressing inequities in preschool education is critical for creating a prosperous future for all. We prioritize partnership with organizations led by and serving communities of color in the greater Portland area. They are closest to community needs and know how to best serve children and families. By collaborating with organizations that already effectively serve the communities most impacted by inequitable systems, we can expand on the solutions created by and for these communities. SVP centers diversity, equity, and inclusion in all our work, and we encourage candidates who share that intention.
