Veterinarian Technician
Arvada Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced full-time Veterinary Technician to join our Team! We are proud to serve the Arvada, CO area for everything pet-related.
Description
Our Technicians are responsible for carrying out the Veterinarian's instructions, assisting in exam rooms and surgery, managing their time, communicating with the Team and with our clients, care of patients: cleaning and maintaining hospital and client areas, collecting and preparing laboratory samples, venipuncture, radiology, use of computers and preparing prescriptions. Our team works closely together to provide excellent care to our patients, focusing not only on the bond between the patient and client but also on being advocates for them and the families who love them.
As a member of our Team, you will receive training, continuing education, and an opportunity to rotate through the various Technician assignment areas.
Schedule:
Days and alternating Saturdays are required.
Pay:
$20 - $25 per hour
Requirements
Venipuncture
I.V. catheter placement
Radiology positioning
Animal handling/restraint
Running and monitoring anesthesia
