Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Enter orders into the Aloha POS system and process payments through the cash register
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders
- Provide exceptional guest service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role preferred
- Knowledge of Aloha POS system is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic knowledge of culinary terms and food service procedures
- Excellent guest relations skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service even in high-pressure situations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
