Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. As a Host/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest services and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. This position is ideal for someone with a background in customer service and a passion for the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests
- Manage the waitlist and accurately estimate wait times
- Operate the POS system to process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating guest needs and resolving any issues that may arise
- Uphold high standards of food service quality and hygiene

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Strong organizational skills to manage waitlists and seating arrangements efficiently
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication skills
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and willingness to go above and beyond for guests
