Surplus City, Inc. is Hiring a Store Associate - Key Holder Trainee Near Carlisle, PA
We currently have an opportunity available for a Retail Store Associate - Key Holder/Management Trainee in our Surplus City store to help us develop and implement our growth strategies. We are looking for a friendly, out-going person to assist customers at our Carlisle, PA store and those applicants who want to gain valuable experience in a retail setting with advancement potential. Job Summary - The Store Associate (FT) completes tasks that support the Store Manager and overall customer base. These tasks may include carrying out daily procedures like restocking shelves, organizing supply rooms or managing the cash register. Their job is also to provide customer support in all departments. As a Keyholder Trainee, this person will learn the nuts and bolts of the company's functions and support our management team in accomplishing organizational goals. Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Greet customers as they enter the location.
Answer customer questions, respond to customer requests and resolve customer issues.
Complete accurate and efficient register transactions.
Perform inventory duties such as unloading, scanning and stocking products onto the shelves.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged period of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
Must be able to bend, reach and lift up to 50 pounds.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous retail experience preferred.
Successful completion of job training period.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrate leadership qualities and promote a positive, safe and clean work atmosphere. Store Hours: Mon - Fri, 9am - 6 pm; Sat, 8am - 5pm; Sunday, 10am - 5pm.
