PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Enforce the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices Policy.
• Perform records review or pre-shipment review and file daily documentation (Red Zone, smart sheets, and lucid chard).
• Review micro test results and release product in the inventory system.
• Update hold log for what is quarantined vs what is on hold at USC.
• Perform annual internal policy review and provide updates to QA System Coordinator for review.
• Organize and review all controlled documents in the facility.
• Create appropriate templates for forms and policies used in the facility.
• Stay current on all audit expectations: BRC, Taco Bell FSA, Taco Bell QSA, CFS, Whataburger, Wendy’s and any other customer expectation.
• Assist Quality System coordinator in completing all audit corrective actions.
• Perform internal inspections of GMPs, Facility and Food Security
• File and organize all training and CAPA documents.
• Track and trend environmental testing results, ATP information and APC swabs.
• Ensure monthly customer reporting is completed and distributed.
• Verification and Validation of HACCP/FSMA.
• Investigate and document foreign material issues.
• Investigate and document customer complaints.
• Work alongside USDA and production employees.
• Monitor and document food security and safety.
• Review food safety and quality records.
• Report any deviations from food safety or quality requirements and place product on hold.
• Train staff on company policies and expectations.
• Coordinates audit corrective actions as needed.
• Be reachable by phone 24/7.

• Must be able to interact with other department managers/supervisors/leads
• Working knowledge of HACCP and audit standards
• Exercise mature judgment and character
• Frequently stands, lifts 50 lbs., walks, reaches, stoops, bends, handles product, smells, listens, speaks and sees
• Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Must be able to work in extreme temperature
• Must be a team player and be able to work cross-functionally
