Patient Access Liaison! In this role, you'll be the friendly face that greets visitors and registers patients, ensuring everyone receives a warm welcome and seamless check-in experience. You'll also play a crucial role in promptly responding to switchboard and telephone calls, ensuring efficient communication within our facility. Additionally, you'll be responsible for monitoring our alarm systems, including Code Blue and Fire alarms, to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. As a Patient Access Liaison, you'll be at the forefront of patient care, assisting with registrations and inquiries. Your attention to detail and dedication to customer service will be key in providing exceptional care to all who enter our doors.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
· High School Diploma or equivalent GED
Experience and Qualifications:
· Minimum of 1-year experience in a medically related environment preferred.
· Prior PBX or switchboard operations experience preferred.
· Basic typing/word processing skills.
· Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
Licenses/Certificates:
· None
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Answers calls coming into the switchboard system and appropriately transfers calls or responds to requests from callers as able. Functions as “medical receptionist” for the hospital for all visitors who access the hospital lobby area.
