Title: Registered Nurse

Location: Los Angeles, CA (on-site)

Hours: Five shifts per week (Shifts to choose from: 11a-7:30p; 9a-5:30p; 7a-3:30p)

Length of Engagement: Contract, Open

Hourly: Competitive/Based off experience

Job Responsibilities Will Include:

• Observe patient records and communicates condition as appropriate.
• Fosters a learning environment for patients/families, nursing, and other members of the healthcare team, including students.
• Accountable for safety, identifies and corrects problems, and integrates evidence and best practice into nursing care; uses data and evidence to improve patient outcomes.
• Able to work with a wide range of staff as part of an interdisciplinary team: physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff.

This unit is looking for the following clinical qualifications:

• Circulate and Scrub role.
• Cardiac case (CABG, Mitral Valve)
• Orthopedic (Total Joints, Total Shoulder, Hemi-arthroplasty/fracture, ACL Repair, Arthroscopy, ORIF/ Fracture)
• Ophthalmology (Cataracts, Vitrectomy, Trabeculectomy)
• General Surgery (Hernia, Exploratory Laparotomy, Whipple, Thoracic, Breast Mastectomy)
• Urology services (TURBT, TURP, Orchiectomy, Open Nephrectomy, Vasovasostomy)
• Robotic Surgery (General and Urology cases)
• GYN cases (TAH, BSO, Laparoscopy, D&C, Ablations)
• Neuro specialty expertise as well as laminectomy, fusion, ACDF, craniotomy
