Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care during surgical procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a difference in the lives of our patients.

Duties:

- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available

- Assist the surgical team during procedures, including passing instruments, suturing, and maintaining a sterile field

- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, assessing their condition and providing appropriate interventions

- Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgeon or anesthesiologist

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Document patient information accurately and timely

- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery

Requirements:

- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an RN credential

- Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
