Surge Staffing is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Spartanburg, SC

Job Details:

  • Second shift, Monday - Friday
  • 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Become familiar with all SQF policies and procedures
  • Responsible for daily completion of QC technician documentation
  • Manage, assess and reassess compliance with the HACCP plan, pre-requisite programs, and SQF programs routinely
  • Ensures compliance to all SOPs, SSOPs and GMPs
  •  Police and ensure all areas are clean and well organized with proper reports to management of GMP violations, inspecting facility on a daily basis
  • Follow equipment SOP, calibration and verification efforts as it pertains to all quality and food safety
  • Notify maintenance or plant manager of any maintenance needs
  • Report any accidents or injuries to management
  • Team oriented problem solver who takes ownership of their work
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Other duties as assigned including but not limited to packing on a table

Position Requirements:

  • HACCP trained
  • SQF Knowledgeable
  • Food manufacturing: 2 years
