Quality Engineer Job Description
Position Summary:
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the client's products and services meet established standards of quality, encompassing reliability, usability, and performance. They play a key role in translating customer requirements into actionable controls to achieve quality objectives. Collaborating with engineers, supervisors, managers, production personnel, suppliers, and customers, the Quality Engineer resolves quality issues, supports team goals, and advocates quality principles. This role drives continuous improvement and optimization of manufacturing processes to align with short and long-term plans, implementing changes that enhance safety, quality, and productivity. The Quality Engineer designs automated testing systems and quality control workflows to streamline the quality assurance process and collects data to troubleshoot errors and drive quality initiatives through lean methodologies.
