To perform the job of Blast Operator successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function per the established Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure al parts meet or exceed quality expectations. The functions listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary.
Ensure al parts are clean, masked properly, and ready for grit blast
Ability to read and understand drawings/specifications
Ability to use, read dial indicators, and record results accurately
Ability to use, read scales, and record results accurately
Operate lathes, forklifts, and overhead cranes
Complete any and all paperwork in a timely manner
Ensure all required personal protection equipment used at al times
Responsible for observing al safety practices
Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work area
Gain and utilize thorough knowledge of company history, culture, identity, and goals •
Help in other departments as needed
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience

Skills
• Ability ot successfully communicate with others
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions
• Basic understanding and use of measuring devices
