Here at Surf City Still Works, our industrial venue caters to a variety of clients needs. We have a front tasting room open open 5 days a week and we also host private events outside of tasting room hours.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creating a welcoming & friendly environment by executing quality service in a gracious manner understanding his/her responsibility in the overall guest experience.
• Following the steps of service set out by the restaurant manager.
• Must be knowledgeable about the restaurant concept and an expert on the menu.
• Executing bar maintenance ensuring cleanliness & guest satisfaction.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• A highly motivated/energetic personality with ability to take initiative.
• Exhibit proper knowledge, selling techniques, and service delivery of menu items including up-selling.
• Excellent customer service & interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors understanding the “sense of urgency”.
• Requires minimum of 2 years previous work experience in a fast paced quality service orientated restaurant
• Applicants must be 21 years of age, and require valid ABC and ServSafe Certifications.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
