Job Type: Full-time, 2nd shift (Monday-Friday overtime as needed), 2:30pm-11:00pm.
Pay Rate: $18-$19/hr
What you will be doing…
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating sit-down clamp industrial trucks, standup reach trucks, and vertical lifts. In addition, the Forklift Operator will be responsible for unloading import/export containers and domestic trailers to receiving docks, checking unloaded products for accurate models and counts, removing products from the receiving dock, and putting them away in proper storage locations.

• Read and understand various documentation for removing products from storage locations and staging in proper areas for outbound shipments.
• Properly stage product for safety and efficiency.
• Operate handheld scanners.
• Required at times to verify and validate product counts, product-to-location accuracy, and/or overages & shortages throughout the warehouse.
• Verify staged product is accurately picked and staged.
• Load import/export containers and domestic trailers and verify that the trailers are in proper condition for them to be loaded (free of nails, debris, etc.).
• Verify the correct shipment is being loaded and properly record the container or trailer ID.
• Seal various import/export containers and domestic trailers.
• Shrink wrap product.
• Hand stacking freight.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or 1-2 years of Manufacturing Experience.
• Must have 1 years of sit-down forklift and clamp experience and standup
• Must be able to pass a Forklift evaluation along with a written test.
• RF Scanner experience.
• Ability to work independently.
