This is a CONTRACT position! Job DescriptionWe are seeking Nurse Practitioners to perform mobile advanced wound care services for our patients. You will travel locally within Washington State to see our patients in their SNFs.This position is looking for candidates living in or near Seattle, Washington and must be willing to drive to see patients in Seattle/Tacoma and surrounding areas.Must be a licensed NP in Washington.Must be willing and able to drive to provide wound care.5 years prior wound care experience is necessary with up to date certification with Medicare in Washington. Responsibilities:Perform wound care procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for plan of care.Assure all patients are completely satisfied.Patient education and management.Debridement of wounds by various methods completed safely during the patient visitApplication of topical wound care and other wound management products.Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart, including follow-up notes.QualificationsQualifications:Current state license as an NP Credentialed with Medicare5 years of wound care experienceCPR CertifiedEffective communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsMust have a valid driver’s license and minimum state required liability auto insurance; local travel is requiredJob Type: Part-timePay: $600 per wound treatment (each wound is treated roughly 4 to 6 times)Medical specialties:Wound CareWeekly schedule:Monday to Friday, possibly some SaturdaysLicense/Certification:Certified Nurse Practitioner Licensed in WashingtonMedicare CertificationWork Location: On the roadAdditional InformationIf you are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and making a difference in the lives of elderly residents, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity and play a fundamental role in empowering our clients to provide the best care for their residents.We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate.
