Position Summary:

The Compilation Analyst is responsible for the accurate collection and manipulation of planimetric and topographic features within a softcopy collection system. Analysts are also responsible for contour generation and digital terrain model creation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Compile planimetric and topographic features from stereo imagery.
2. Create and utilize standardized checklists, work instructions, and project specific documentation to ensure the quality and accuracy of geospatial data.
3. Project setup- Verify all source materials, including boundaries, control and stereo pairs.
4. Maintain up to date status reporting and tracking on all projects.
5. Perform peer review on compiled models.
6. Client interaction (kick-off meetings, provide tech expertise on a product or solution, etc.).

Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications:

Required:

1. Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Sciences (will accept 5 years of experience in stereo compilation in lieu of a degree)
2. Experience - 2 years' relevant experience
3. Proficiency in ESRI, ArcGIS 10.X

Preferred:

1. 3-5 years' relevant experience
2. Familiar with Summit Evolution or comparable softcopy suite
3. Working knowledge of MicroStation and Terrasolid Suite (TscanTmodel)

Essential Physical Requirements:

1. Visual acuity - normal color and 3-D Stereo vision
2. Able to sit and focus on imagery on a computer monitor for long periods of time
3. Visual acuity to use accepted tools of management, i.e., computers, computer monitors, mouse, keyboard.
