Supportive Living Services is currently seeking responsible, caring, and dedicated people for Full Time and Part-time Direct Support Professional (Caregivers) positions locally in the Erie community. Starting rate of $16.50 per hour

Weekend differential pay starting on Friday at 11pm is $18.50 per hour

Paid training

Limited staff to client ratios

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license
• Acceptable motor vehicle history
• Acceptable criminal background history

Responsibilities of our Direct Support Professional positions include but may not be limited to:

• Relate, interact, and communicate positively with the individuals.
• Support and assist the individuals in developing skills that will further their independence and improve their quality of life.
• Administer and document medications according to agency and DPW policies.
• Conduct fire drills according to agency and DPW requirements.
• Adhere to all agency policies and procedures in regards to handling individual and miscellaneous house funds.
• Participate in the general upkeep of the individuals' homes and property.
• Prepare, or assist the individuals in preparing, family style meals.
• Provide any necessary transportation using agency vehicles and follow all applicable policies and procedures.
