SupplyHouse.com, a rapidly growing e-commerce company in the plumbing, electrical, and HVAC space, is looking for an Inventory Control Team Lead to join our Texas Fulfillment Center! If you are looking for a career that will allow you to motivate team members and support management, this is the job for you!

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Farmers Branch, TX

Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 annually

Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm CST

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining the location inventory at a high level of accuracy, space efficiency, and organization. 
  • Identify any patterns found while investigating inventory issues and present the information to the Receiving Team Lead to address with their team. 
  • Ensure all let down replenishments, bin audits, and cycle counts are addressed daily. 
  • Responsible for slotting inventory locations and layout configuration for new/existing items.
  • Make sure transfer orders are picked and staged and communicate with the Freight Lead when completed. 
  • Monitor the inventory condensed report and address frequently to maintain space efficiency in the location. 
  • Lead projects that improve inventory optimization and create capacity expansion.
  • Monitor inventory reports and determine obsolescence for item disposition.
  • Train all team members to understand all operational processes along with standard safety and organizational processes. 
  • Execute all process improvements developed and in partnership with the Inbound Manager to support the growth.
  • Conduct monthly check-ins with each member of the Inventory Control team to track performance, establish rapport, and provide feedback. 
  • Immediately address all personnel and performance related incidents that arise. 

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of Inventory Management experience
  • Experience working with a WMS or inventory management systems
  • Ability to create and maintain inventory reports
  • Understanding of distribution flow, integration, and automation
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to see the “big picture” and identify/forecast developing issues
  • Continuous improvement experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication, including public presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
