Supply Technologies is Hiring a Quality Inspector Near Salem, NC

For 40 years, our team at Southern Fasteners & Supply has been delivering quality parts and service to a
diverse base of MRO and OEM customers. We are looking for a motivated, energetic person that wants

companies.

We are looking for a full-time onsite Quality Inspector for our Winston-Salem, North Carolina location.

Job Description/Responsibilities

  • Review/inspect product based on applicable specifications, regulatory requirements, and/or applicable drawing/prints.
  • Use measuring tools such as calipers and various ring/plug gauges to ensure product compliance.
  • Document findings and assess compliance to required standards to result in disposition of product.
  • Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained.
  • Assist in the review specifications, requirements, drawing, etc. to confirm product identified/described accurately.

Skills/Requirements

  • Detailed oriented and good observation skills
  • Knowledge of measurement and measurement conversion (fraction to decimal)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe & Adobe Pro
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to verbally (and in writing) explain/describe issues and/or questions in a professional and intelligible manner.
  • Knowledge/familiarity with the following is a plus:
  • AS9120/ISO9001 (or similar quality standards)
  • Familiarity with quality measurement tools
