International and Domestic Logistics Coordinator

About the position :

The International and Domestic Logistics Coordinator is responsible for daily operations of international shipments through coordinating shipments from start to finish and offering exceptional customer service skills.

This includes arranging ocean FCL moves and will interface with agents, plants, consignees, and vendors to manage all aspects of FCL shipments.

The primary focus will be on Dry and Refrigerated goods. Expected to manage transactions and tasks to meet client needs and any government requirements.

The Associate will also be responsible for coordinating with key SCS personnel to manage Domestic and International transactions.

They will model and act in accordance with our core values.

Some of the key responsibilities for this position include :

• Daily receipt, review, and coordination of any new purchase orders.
• Assist in managing shipment and custom activities for import services.
• Ensure that logistics activities follow the United States Customs and Border Protection regulations.

You are a great fit for this role if you have :

• Have a minimum of 3 years working in Freight Forwarding or 3PL office actively managing Import files, preferably with food import experience.
• Experience working with the following documents : booking confirmations, MBLs, HBLs, customer's commercial documents, arrival notices, AWB, SLIs, and FDA paperwork.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
