Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care has partnered with a school district to hire a Special Education Teacher to work in St. Louis, Missouri. As a school professional with SHC, you'll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as a Special Education Teacher.

Special Education Teacher Contract Details:
- $37 - $41 an hour
- Schedule: Full-time. 33.75 hours per week for the 2023-24 school year
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 5/26/2023 with option to extend
- Location: In-person and virtual/remote options
- Details: K-12 special education teacher assignment. Elementary, middle, and high school options. Classroom assignment will be made based on candidate's experience and certification level. Missouri special education teacher certification or substitute teacher certification are acceptable. Will consider full-time and part-time candidates. Very collaborative team and mentor provided.
- Bonus: $3,000 Assignment Bonus for new full-time SHC employees
- Multicategorical, intellectual, learning, and/or emotional disability special education certifications will be accepted

Possible program/caseload info:
- Special education teacher needs in elementary, middle, high, and alternative schools throughout the district.
- Could be a combination of co-teach and pull-out services
- Could be low incidence/autism self-contained classroom
- Could be a behavior support specialist
