Position Overview

As a Cashier at Suppas Pizza, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and the face of our brand. Your primary responsibilities will include processing orders, handling payments, and ensuring our customers leave happy and satisfied. We are looking for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the restaurant and provide them with information about menu items.
• Process transactions using the cash register, including handling cash, credit/debit card payments, and making change.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Answer phone calls, take phone orders, and manage the restaurant's delivery/takeout orders.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues with orders in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures for the restaurant.
• Support the team by performing additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service position is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail for handling cash and processing transactions.
• A positive attitude and a team player mentality.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
