Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Title Processor to join our team. As a Title Processor, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the title process for real estate transactions. This includes reviewing and analyzing mortgage documents, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating the closing process. Duties: - Review and analyze mortgage documents, including loan origination, credit analysis, and escrow instructions - Coordinate with lenders, loan officers, real estate agents, and attorneys to gather necessary information and documentation - Conduct title searches to verify ownership and identify any liens or encumbrances on the property - Prepare title commitments, title reports, and other necessary documents for closing - Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including Fair Housing regulations and TILA (Truth in Lending Act) - Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the title process - Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communicate updates to relevant parties - Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire title process Experience: - Previous experience as a Title Processor or in a similar role within the mortgage industry is preferred - Knowledge of mortgage servicing, loan origination, and basic math principles - Familiarity with contract terms and legal terminology related to real estate transactions - Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex documents - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Proficient computer skills, including experience with title software and Microsoft Office Suite Join our team as a Title Processor and contribute to the success of our real estate transactions.
